SUN XTENDER QUALITY, RELIABILITY & EXPERIENCECONCORDE “THE COMPANY” - Concorde Battery Corporation is a manufacturer of premium quality lead acid batteries. Formed in 1977, Concorde’s main product development emphasis had been in Dry Charged and Sealed, Valve Regulated Lead Acid Batteries. This included gelled electrolyte batteries.
Then, in 1985, Concorde developed its Absorbent Glass Mat, AGM battery technology, now adopted for United States’ Military Aircraft. The success and acceptance by the military has been outstanding.
Concorde Battery Corporation is now the largest and most successful manufacturer of Sealed Lead Acid batteries for both military and commercial aircraft.
In 1986 Concorde further developed the AGM battery for Deep Cycle Applications. This development effort provided increased energy density [higher capacity] and far better cycling life than its high quality gel battery. Starting at the beginning of 1987 Concorde discontinued the gel and concentrated all engineering developments on the AGM battery line.
In 1987 Concorde began supplying the solar energy industry with our Deep Cycle AGM solar batteries. Over the years it has been design expertise, quality and customer acceptance that has made Concorde a leader in providing the best solar battery available.
19 YEARS OF SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM EXPERIENCE - Concorde has been supplying the Renewable Energy Storage/ Solar Energy / Photovoltaic (PV) Industries for almost 19 years, providing excellent performance, reliability and life. Applications include installations for telecommunications, village power, medical refrigeration, remote home, supervisory control & data acquisition, cathodic protection, telemetry, residential homes, aids to navigation [sea & air], lighting, and many more uses.
QUALITY MANUFACTURER - Concorde is an approved quality manufacturing facility to several US Military, US Federal and commercial quality specifications. All Concorde AGM batteries are manufactured to the same stringent quality standards. Some of these include:
U.S. MIL-B-8565J
U.S. MIL-I-45208
Aeronautics & Space 14 CFR Part 21, Section 303 Federal Aviation Regulations
AS 9100 REV. B:2004 AND ISO 9001: 2000
CONCORDE’S COMMITMENT - Concorde is committed to the proposition that the customer deserves the best performing and highest quality product. Our batteries are tailored to the solar energy application rather than make the designer settle for what is available in solar batteries. It is this commitment - to meet the needs of the customer - that sets Concorde apart.
